Youth MinistryA Fresh Start for Youth Ministry
2026–2027 We’re excited to begin a brand-new chapter for our youth ministry this year—with a renewed vision, fresh energy, and a heart for students and families. This summer, we’ll kick things off by refreshing The Hiding Place, creating a welcoming, comfortable space where students can gather, grow, and belong. As we move into the fall, we’ll host fun and meaningful outreach events designed to build relationships and connect with students and their families in our community. By late 2026, we’ll begin regular weekly meetups, leading up to a special launch celebration in January 2027. From there, we’ll continue meeting each week while offering ongoing opportunities for connection, service, and authentic community. We can’t wait to see what God will do in this new season—and we’d love for you to be part of it. email [email protected] for more information |

Ready for a Bible study that is thoughtful, inviting, and refreshingly accessible? After exploring some weightier theological ideas, we are turning to Lies My Preacher Told Me, Brent A. Strawn’s engaging examination of ten common misconceptions about the Old Testament.
Have you ever wondered whether the God of the Old Testament is simply angry and judgmental, whether its laws still matter, or what these ancient writings have to do with Christian faith today? These are honest questions—and this study offers a welcoming place to explore them together.
Written for everyday readers and designed for group discussion, Strawn’s concise book challenges familiar assumptions while showing why the Old Testament’s stories and laws remain enriching and essential for Christians. It is thought-provoking without being overly academic, making it a lively guide for conversation, discovery, and a deeper appreciation of Scripture.
Come join the conversation! Whether you know the Old Testament well or have always found it challenging, your questions and insights are welcome. Together, we will examine these “lies,” discover fresh perspectives, and explore why the Old Testament remains vital to understanding God’s story—and our faith today.
